Bollywood:Katrina Kaif humko Deewana Kar Gaye !

Katrina Kaif is a name to reckon with in Bollywood today. The actress with her sizzling beauty enchanted the Indian audience in two of the flicks ‘Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya’ and ‘Sarkar’.However, these roles were somewhat superficial and were not of the essence, so to speak. In the newly released movie ‘Humko Diwana Kar Gaye’, Katrina is all set to prove to the world that she is an actress par excellence and not just another pretty face.

Akshay Kumar is reportedly very impressed by his co-star Katrina. “She’s tall pretty and very focused on her work. People tell me we make a good on-screen pair. In fact I’m now doing my second film ‘Welcome’ with Katrina. The producer Feroz Nadiadwala loves to shoot in Dubai. I enjoy it too,” Said Akshay Kumar in an interview.
Media grapevine has it that the newly released film ‘Humko Deewana Kar Gaye’, starring Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Bipasha Basu and Anil Kapoor, has made it to the coveted UK Top 10 list. According to industry sources, the gross from its previews and 4-day Easter weekend was 219,981 pounds i.e.approx Rs 1.77 crore.

Katrina will soon be seen playing Jaya Bachchan’s role of ‘Radha’ in director Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Sholay’, a remake of 70s popular flick . Besides, Katrina has been roped in to play a role in director Sohail Khan’s next home-production ‘Partner’ which is a film directed by David Dhawan with Govinda as co-star. Other than these two in the line-up again is Anil Sharma’s ‘Apne’ which will be starring for the first time, stars the three Deols, Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby all together and Abbas Mastan’s next venture and comedy by Anees Bazmee .
