The beautiful Katrina Kaif says that Amitabh Bachchan has been the
greatest influence on her during her brief career in Bollywood but
there is one star she longs to work with.

"I get tired and Amitji is still full of energy and still standing
on the sets. It's amazing to see that kind of dedication and
professionalism. And he looks much less than his age," Katrina said
on the sidelines of a function in New Delhi where she launched
Kodak's latest digital offering, the EasyShar V570.

She has already worked with Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan in Boom
and Sarkar and with Salman Khan in Maine Pyar Kyon Kiya , finding
the entire experience extremely rewarding.

"It's been great. I've been very lucky to work with more experienced
actors early on in my career because I get a chance to learn from
them. There is so much you can learn from them. You can just follow
them and you'll be pretty safe," Katrina told a news agency.

Katrina is now working with Akshay Kumar and the three Deols -
Dharmendra and sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol - and a trifle shyly
says there's one star she'd love to be paired with.

"Umm...let's see. Definitely I'd like to work with Hrithik Roshan ,"
she said.

But that will have to wait till Katrina's three current projects are
canned. These are Humko Deewana Kar Gaye with Akshay, "Apne" with
the three Deols and Ram Gopal Varma 's remake of Sholay in which she
is cast in Jaya Bachchan 's widow role.

Katrina first hit the headlines while walking on London's fashion
runways till the Bollywood bug bit her.

As for her mantra for a healthy life, she said: "Exercise, eat well.
You've got to be careful about what you eat because Indian food
tends to be way too oily. Try to eat more healthy food - more
vegetables, more fish.

"I like Japanese food because it's very healthy, it's delicious - I
like that kind of taste - not too much spice and at the same time,
there's no oil, there's no fat.

"The other thing is getting up early, not oversleeping, going to the
gym, going to work on time."

Katrina Kaif, who has been lauded for her stylish taste in clothes is planning to turn designer in the near future. The actress plans to launch her own brand of clothes along with designer Rocky S. Says Katrina, "Yes I do plan to launch my own designs in the near future but I will probably go for a tie-up with Rocky S. His cut, fit and fabrics match my sensibilities and he's been with me for years.

I am very comfortable with Rocky. He's one of those few designers who understands it's not about designs but how one looks and knows the importance of body structure. Katrina Kaif plays prank on Sanjay Gupta

Actress Katrina Kaif, who features in the promotional video of Vijay Mallya's Indian Premier League (IPL) team 'Royal Challengers', surprised everyone when she played a prank while shooting the song.

She took the mike, changed her voice and announced that Katrina had fainted due to the non-stop shooting in the sweltering heat.

The shoot had started at 7 a.m. at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai owned by the Cricket Club of India (CCI).

The whole unit panicked and frantically started searching for her but couldn't find her for nearly half an hour. Director Sanjay Gupta and choreographer Bosco were tense since they had to finish the shoot in the limited time allotted by the authorities.

Everyone heaved a sigh of relief when they saw Katrina emerge, having a good laugh.

When contacted, Gupta laughed and said: "Hey who told you that? Katrina was lovely to work with."

I will be walking for Ritu Beri's grand finale -- the last show tomorrow.

Many Bollywood stars, including Salman Khan, made an appearance this time.

Yes, I am told he looked quite stunning in a black coat, trousers and blood red shirt. I missed watching it though.

How do you take care of your skin?

I drink lots of liquids, and juices minus the sugar. I remind myself to drink water regularly and exercise for at least an hour daily.

What about keeping fit?

Exercise is a must. It doesn't have to involve going to the gym daily. It could be some form of exercise like running, a breathing exercise, jumping ropes, or anything else to keep the body active.

How do you take care of your hair?

I use shampoo and conditioner in moderation and take care not to expose my hair to the sun too much.

Who do you think is to blame for wardrobe malfunctions?

It's an occupational hazard. There is barely a gap of 15 seconds in which one has to change and be back on the ramp. Sometimes, while changing, the helpers don't get the clothes in place properly. Sometimes, there is chaos, the fitting may not be proper or the model may not have carried it properly. One can't single out a designer or model for an incident like that. It's not fair.

How does one handle such a situation?

When something like this happens on the ramp to one model, everybody is upset. No one knows who could be next. There is tremendous pressure and your nerves are sometimes on edge. But one needs to keep cool, pull the garment and exit gracefully, which I heard is what the models did. I think the press also needs to be a little more objective with what pictures to use and not to cash in on someone's unfortunate moment. They should not blow it out of proportion, causing further embarrassment to the person concerned.

If you have a honey-coloured complexion, go for a soft brown blusher. A compact is also very handy in humid weather. For the eyes Outline the lower eyelid with soft pink or soft brown eye shadow. Fill it in with a light pink shimmer eye cube for a twinkle. You can then highlight it with liquid roll-on in gold. Let your lips do the talking Try a generous coat of pink or light brown lip gloss for a glossy pout. This will give you a nice, juicy look. For your nails, you can use a glossy nail paint to go with your outfit or stick to a pink or maroon, matching what you wear. For Indrani's evening look Blend a suitable shade of foundation over your skin in upward strokes on the face and neck. You can then conceal any dark circles under the eyes with a concealer. Highlight the cheekbones with a dark shade blusher. For the eyes, add two more stars to the night. Evenly apply a shimmer cube on the upper eyelid. For a more defined look, smudge the corners with the same colour, and finish by highlighting your eyes with a kohl sparkler. Sweep a coat of thick lash mascara for a more dramatic look. For lips, apply a base coat, then accentuate with lip gloss. You could add some shimmer to your nails too. Use plain paint, let it dry, then add a coat of shimmer nail gloss.
